S&OP Analyst / Commercial Analyst – Sales and Operations Planning

As the world’s largest general use car rental brand, our client operates from 8,000 locations around the globe. A unique opportunity has now arisen for an S&OP Analyst / Commercial Analyst to join their team.
This role would suit someone with S&OP analysis experience looking to further their career with a company offering many exciting and challenging opportunities.
As the S&OP Analyst / Commercial Analyst your focus will be to provide solid analytics and model scenarios to support management decision making.
These activities will help the business to balance demand and supply, integrating operational and financial planning, so the company can better forecast the business and take fact-based decisions.
Your duties will include:
- providing standardised and accurate data to management for the sales and operations planning process
- assisting with the management and reporting of forecasts and building of an accurate country demand plan
- supporting the build-up of a European S&OP process
- revenue planning (central England/business planning) with local management
- consolidating input from different segments
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- S&OP analysis experience from within the FMCG/Supply Chain/Manufacturing industries
- a degree (or equivalent), preferably in economics, statistics, supply chain or similar
- exceptional analytical skills, with deep experience of using MS Excel and MS Access
As the S&OP Analyst / Commercial Analyst you should also have an innovative and creative approach with the ability to use insightful judgement.
Experience in the automotive or car rental industries would be beneficial to your application, as would experience of using forecasting systems.
